Goslings at the Water Park

With thesis outlining in full swing, I’ve had little to contribute to this blog, but the wonderful Bob Philpott (moderator of the Cotswold Water Park bird blog) has been out and about and found tagged bird CX with a partner and brood!

His photos are below. I hope to add more of the photos taken by contributors to the project over the coming weeks.

  1. It’s great to see that the collared geese have bred in the park. I’ve been watching goose IJ and uncollared partner at Whelford Pools in the CWP. They were trying to nest on a tern raft but a mute swan was constantly harassing them. Will check them out again to see what’s happening asap.
